- Keep your porch light on to invite trick-or-treaters to come to the door for a trick or treat.
- Make sure your yard is clear of trip hazards such as ladders
- Keep your pets are indoors, and away from the front door so they won't scare kids by rushing foward.
- Do not give homemade treats to eat.
- Make sure treats are individually wrapped.
- Make sure that you or any "tricks" are not too scary since young children can truly be frightened.
